Description

The MLBH-1 Rope/Net Hoist with Metal Lock Box i s a manual hoist system to raise climbing ropes, cargo nets, or other climbing components to the wall or ceiling to prevent unauthorized use or to get the equipment out of the way of other activities. The hoist system is supplied with a metal lock box to avoid unauthorized use. The MLBH-1 is a complete kit supplied with one wall cleat metal lock box assembly, one wall pulley assembly, and one 60′ rope assembly with a weighted end for easy use. The system is capable of raising 70 pounds (equivalent to 1 cargo net or 2 climbing ropes). The MLBH-1 metal box and pulley assemblies are equipped with wood stringers to allow for easy installation on the wall. All wall anchors are supplied by others.

To operate, simply connect the rope to the climbing net or rope and manually pull the equipment to the ceiling or wall. Once at the desired height, tie off the rope to the wall cleat and secure the box. Jammar recommends including the optional signage (SIGN-1) to deter unauthorized use and/or misuse of the equipment.

Indoor nets are supplied with general installation instructions, care and use documentation. Any and all climbing activities require proper mats, spotting and supervision when using. Specific soft landing surfaces and supervision required and possible belaying for climbing heights over 8 feet. Mats are probably the single most important ingredient to any activity using equipment to prevent serious injuries when accidents may occur. Having several thick landing mats placed around nets will make instruction much easier and more innovative. These mats are versatile and can be used in many capacities.
