When challenging yourself with a new climbing experience, safety must always be your absolute priority. Many times proper spotting and adequate ground base can be enough to heed any major issues but when dealing with heights and angles that could increase the chance of falls. When this arises it might be wise to install a fall protection net to your systems plans.
Jammar can fabricate 4″, 6″ or 9″ square mesh nets for use horizontally as fall protection nets under high obstacles. Nets are made from any of our 1/2″, 5/8″ or 3/4″ diameter 3-strand twisted ropes. Nets are finished with either a rope border on all 4 sides, using a larger diameter rope than the mesh for added strength, or loops on top and bottom for easy installation. Custom hardware can be added at strategic attachment points or all along perimeter for cable attachment.
4″ and 6″ mesh nets should not be considered or used as climbing nets under national consumer playground regulations.
