Description
Walk, crawl, squeeze or step through the specially designed ‘tunnel’ nets, teaching body control against a movable force. Jammar’s tunnel nets are cargo nets designed to be installed in a ‘U’ shape normally to a ceiling or overhead framework. Participants enter one end and exit the other end. Ends can be secured to framework or left open. If left open, proper supervision, spotting and appropriate soft landing surfaces must be included in it’s use [when installing provide safe mounting and dismounting access on both sides of the tunnel!]
Standard tunnel nets have approximately 9inch square mesh using a 5/8inch diameter poly Dacron rope. Rope eyes along the sides allow for use of simple attachment methods. Included is a 1-3/4inch square mesh bedding net lashed to the inside for filling gaps and comfort.
Online we offer 3 popular sizes with a ‘U’ of 7 feet which makes for a 3-3.5 foot drop (3 foot wide top spacing). Other lengths, ‘U’ drops or even mesh sizes can be fabricated and custom made, contact us for pricing.

Most ceiling joists are 2-bys, meaning they are actually 1.5″ wide and spaced either 16″ or 24″ apart. This DOES NOT provide enough structural support to mount your rope tunnel. Check our Installation Guide for further installation and safety information.

When ordering specify net type, mesh size, rope diameter, border option, and size. Climbing nets are easy to install and are long lasting when attached with smooth, nonabrasive hardware and properly installed and maintained.
All nets comply with National Playground Safety Standards for mesh size and locking mesh junctions. Special consideration must be given to safe heights, safe use and the management of a soft surface under climbing equipment. Do not jump or drop off any net. Safe play area required.
