Description

The Overhead Joist Hanger (A-9) is a heavy duty steel bar designed for simple mounting on the side of an overhead wood joist or wood beam that is structurally safe and able to withstand any weight placed upon it. Each hanger is constructed of a 1/2″ thick 2″ x 9″ steel bar with two mounting holes and one equipment attachment hole. Attachment hole sits just below open joist or finished ceiling. Mounting hardware by others, through bolted recommended.

Please note, this hanger is not considered a permanent fixture and requires periodic inspection to ensure top performance. Safe working load rating for the A-9 is 1000 lbs.

1/2″ thick by 9″ long steel bar for side mounting to overhead wood joists or beams
Recommend Grade 8 through bolts for mounting (provided by others)
